Antonio Madau

Vice President

Antonio Madau is the BTA Vice President. Elected to the position in 2022, he works to improve the functioning of his Local and provide the greatest value and service to the membership. He has worked to negotiate Collective Bargaining and Employee Evaluation Agreements. Antonio is a NUSUT Representative Assembly Delegate, and active member of the State-wide NYSUT Health and Safety Committee. He has worked tirelessly to achieve safer working conditions for his members. Antonio Madau has been a proud Union member since 2014. During that time, he served as a Building Representative before being elected to the position of BTA Secretary in 2020. As an elementary school teacher, he continues to serve on many District committees and remains committed to improving the educational outcomes of all students.
