Joseph Rebisz

Joseph Rebisz

Negotiations Officer

Joe Rebisz has had the privilege of serving on the Executive Council for the Batavia Teachers’ Association for the last nineteen years.  During that time, he has worked as both a building representative and as the BTA Chair of Negotiations.  Over the last thirteen years he has negotiated five contracts for the BTA, while working with four different superintendents, in both formal and informal negotiating situations.  These experiences have afforded him the opportunity to work closely with four different BTA presidents, numerous building representatives, and various officers in a variety of capacities.  Over the years he has chaired, or been a contributing member of, the Extended Leave Committee, the Calendar Committee, the New Teacher Committee, the APPR Committee, The Negotiations Committee, and the Elections Committee.

As an elementary math teacher, Joe works diligently to provide students high quality instruction, and hopes to instill a love for math, learning, and life into all of his students.
